About Pastor Stan

In 2010, after a month long trip to earthquake torn Haiti, I was forever changed.  Leaving a 22-year career in public service behind, I went into full time ministry with an emphasis on social and economic change for impoverished areas throughout the world and to impact the lives of those around me.  

Not only do I have a heart for people, I have a heart for marriage. Married to my beautiful bride, Denise, my heart is truly to join people together for a lifetime.  I collaborate with each couple to create the perfect, unique and customized ceremony. This is just the beginning of the investment I make into every couple.  After the special day, I make myself available to each bride and groom, to encourage, cheer on and support them throughout their marriage.  We offer pre-marriage counseling, post marriage coaching and several times a year we host marriage workshops with an emphasis on helping each couple develop their marriage into what they have always desired.  
 
Touting the preferred vendor position for 11 top ranking SoCal venues, I have officiated over 800 weddings.  With over 30 years of public speaking experience and teaching, I was an on staff pastor for 5 years, and now focus my attention on the couples that I work with.  In addition to my wife Denise, I have two amazing children, my son Conner - 29, and daughter Kelsie - 21.

Who We Are
Although Pastor Stan is at the helm of Joining Hearts, he has developed a team of local pastors that share in his ideals and values on marriage and the diversity in the team has proven to be a tremendous strength towards building lasting friendships with each couple, providing the perfect ceremony and future support for each and every couple that desires a lifetime commitment with their spouse.  Having a full compliment of pastors ensures we are able to cover almost any date on the calendar and we are available for ceremonies in Spanish.  

Our commitment to you
Our sole purpose when performing wedding ceremonies is to meet the needs of the couple and co-create with the bride and groom the perfect ceremony.  The entire team are ordained and active Pastors, and we have dedicated our lives to loving people whether we have the same worldview or not.  Therefore, we are available for secular and faith based ceremonies alike.  

Our desire is to encourage people to live a whole life, fully loving themselves as they were designed. With that understanding, we make ourselves available if and when needed to help foster unity in each family and developing a framework for life long, fulfilling marriages.
